Palin resigns suddenly

The announcement was so quick that even the circling buzzards of the press missed a few morsels.

I can't say as I blame her with all that's been flung at her in the last 18 months. Her stint in the public's eye was akin to a visit to to the monkey cage at the local zoo where the primates routinely fling their feces.

But at the same time, I am disappointed with her. Winners never quit, and quitters never win. I thought she was made of sterner stuff.

I am not sure that we have seen the last of her yet. This may be the opening salvo from her for something bigger and better.

I listened to the entire speech and watched part of it online. The mere fact that she can so utterly out speak the barryboy without notes or teleprompters shows she has something that this country needs.

I think (hope) this is a strategic move. She's got half a million dollars in lawyer bills. I think she'll go on the speaking circuit, make some big bucks to pay off her debt, and be able to speak her mind without needing to worry about any more bull shit "ethics" investigations.

I laugh out loud when the press hammers her for not completing her term. She's 3/4th through her term. Barry was only 1/3 of the way through when he started campaigning full time, but for some reason, THAT wasn't an issue with the press.

I hope she goes third-party. I still will not vote R or D until I SEE change, not just hear about how it's coming.
