My comments on Sept 11th

I'll be in the woods on Sunday taking advantage of the opening of bow season. So I felt maybe I should go ahead and make my 9/11 post.

On this the anniversary of the Sept 11th attacks, I felt compelled to join the throng of commentators on the current scene and add my views to the mix.

Here in the heart of GunRights4US, there is no sorrow, no remorse, no introspection, no hope for world peace. Little doves are not winging in circles about my head, and my thoughts are not clouded with scenes of America feeding refugees in some foreign land. I’ll tell you what you would see if by magic you could directly access the inner machinations of my mind. You would see boiling rage and anger aimed at three parties when it comes to 9/11.

The first and obvious target of my angst is the followers of that devil-god Allah. And not merely for the “radical” variety either. The distinction of “moderate” versus “radical” Muslims is false label applied by a media and political class that desperately wants to deny that we are engaged in an old-style religious war. War can be waged by one party against another party whether or not that second party is willing to acknowledge that war is being waged.



Deny reality if you will – but the consequences of denying reality will NOT be long denied. In short, Islam is not a religion but a political movement that masquerades as a religion. It is, in every way, anathema to all freedom loving peoples anywhere, and it knows no compromise of any kind. Islam divides the world and everyone in it into the house of Islam, or the house of the un-believers, and its solution is very simple: conversion, slavery, or death. This is a fundamental tenant of Islam. So the more closely a Muslim adheres to Islamic doctrine, the more likely he is to slit your infidel throat!




The next target of my vitriol is the political class that has mishandled the Islam issue as surely as it has mishandled every other crisis for the last couple of generations. The last time an American politician dealt properly with Islam was in 1801 when Thomas Jefferson declared “millions for defense, but not one penny for tribute”. He then backed up his high sounding rhetoric with Marines on the ground in Tripoli. Since then, the political slugs aspiring to rule this great land have embraced the concept of tribute and a mindset of stark dhimmitude (If you don’t know the meaning of that word you’re part of the problem). When George Bush stood before Congress and declared that we are not at war with Islam, he made himself (and America) the fool for all to see. He also clearly communicated to our enemies that their deceptive plans are working – keep it up.



American politicians are kissing Islamic arse like never before. When it was discovered that Trijicon scopes used a Bible verse based system of model numbers, the military establishment went bonkers and threatened to stop buying one of the best combat scopes ever made. In the brass’s mind apparently it’s okay to bomb, incinerate, and machine gun Muslims – but for Pete’s sake let’s not offend them! And were you aware that American troops in Afghanistan were ordered to burn Bibles?



Finally, I harbor a deep loathing of the politically correct citizenry and media that refuses to pull its head out of the sand and hear what the members of Allah’s death cult are saying out loud. Muslims are using this pervasive degree of ignorance among Westerners to advance their sect’s plan for dominating the world. By the way – you DO know that lying to advance the cause of Islam is another fundamental aspect of this “faith” right? That’s something that our media has latched onto – though not in the way you might think. The talking heads are lying to you Joe Sixpacks out there (about more than just Islam), and they justify it with the notion that the ends justify the means. If ONLY we would be nice enough to the towel heads, they’ll stop trying to blow us up! When I see one of those asinine COEXIST bumper stickers, I see red with pure anger. I want to yank the driver out of his or her automobile and scream in their face “Are you STUPID?” It's the same mindset displayed by the people busy turning the Flight 93 memorial into a giant red crescent honoring - THE HIJACKERS!



The Hindus, the Zoroastrians, the Sikhs, the Jews, and the Christians are not trying to slaughter everyone who doesn’t believe like they do (the very definition of a religious war)! That bloody form of evangelism is exclusively the province of those moon-god fanatics who are stuck in the 7th century; and who demand that everyone else on the planet join them there – or die.

In closing, let me make one final point. Islam is a danger to a degree far beyond anything ever posed by communism or fascism. But here in America, the fascist political class is using the very real threat of Islam to leverage up their own power (think The Patriot Act). The Osamites out there want to enslave me, humiliate me, rob me of my substance, and ultimately force me on pain of death to accept their ideology. The Obamites want the EXACT same thing of me, and they’re IN CHARGE of my country!

Book Review: Mark Steyn's After America: Get Ready For Armageddon

I’m reading Mark Steyn’s latest book: After America, Get Ready for Armageddon. If you’re unfamiliar with Steyn, know that his talent is twofold (in my opinion). First he can make complicated topics much more understandable. And second, he has a wonderfully witty style that makes even reading about the end of Western Civilization enjoyable.

I heartily recommend this book, as well as his America Alone: The End of The World As We Know It

Here’s an excerpt where Styen elaborates on a quote from Tom Wolf’s essay The Me Decade:

Yes, killing Osama bin Laden is a big secret that would be hard to keep for long. Certainly Pakistan would grow agitated if we simply said nothing about the incursion, though sweating the Janus-faced Pakistanis with silence for a couple of days might yield its own intelligence rewards. In other words, even waiting 24 hours might generate some interesting "chatter." The Pakistanis working with Al Qaeda certainly would have been the first to spread the news that Bin Laden was dead or captured.

But the real treasure trove would be that "college library" of intelligence. And while reports are pouring out from a gloating White House that's leaking like the Titanic in its final hours, one can only assume our analysts have barely begun to exploit the data.

Couldn't they have at least tried to give the CIA a week, a day, even a few more hours to look at it all before letting Ayman Zawahiri and the rest of Al Qaeda know about it? Why give him the slightest head start to go even further underground?

Buried in Accordance with Islamic Tradition!!!

I am pleased as punch that Osama Bin Laden has been sent to the great beyond, and with extreme prejudice. However there are a couple of things that irk me.

First of all, Obama Been Lying standing up there and doing his dead level best to take credit for this galls me to no end. That slimy arrogant bastard turns my stomach every time he opens his mouth. Wasn’t this really the legwork of the same intelligence apparatus that Obama once ordered his Attorney General to investigate? Oh but when their efforts produce a potential political bonanza, Obongo is quick to try and commandeer that for his own personal benefit.

The other thing that irks me is the continuing sensitivity to the followers of Islam. Excuse me! The corpse of Obama….er ….Osama was WASHED and handled “according to Islamic custom”? Have we as a nation become so pussified? If Islamic custom was to kiss a corpse’s ass, would US military officers have ordered those Navy SEALS "turn to" if the Poser-In-Chief had so ordered? It sure makes me wonder!

I don’t recall the followers of Allah ever showing the slightest sensitivity to Western customs. Do you remember March 31, 2004 when the Allah-worshippers in Falujah Iraq ambushed four Americans at a bridge. It wasn’t enough to kill them. They mutilated the corpses, burned them, hung them up, and then made photos and videos as they jumped and pranced around like kiddies at an ice cream party!

My memory also contains scenes of a dead American serviceman being dragged thru the streets of Mogadishu Somolia in 1993 by mobs of … yes, that’s right, Allah worshippers; the adherents of that wonderful Religion of Peace!

Okay, I will admit that for a moment my mind entertained the fantasy of feeding OBL’s carcass to some hungry pigs on live television – in front of the site of the WTC. But I am okay with tossing it out into the ocean like so much garbage.

But could we at least refrain from kissing his ass – even if only figuratively?

Reasons why Islam is so misunderstood by the typical Westerner

I frequently encounter people who are absolutely convinced that the biggest threat to America is Islam. These folks are typically very supportive of the Patriot Act and an aggressive approach to fighting the War on Terror.

Just as frequently, I come across folks who poo poo Islam as no threat at all, and the biggest threat to our lifestyle is some form of Liberalism, Socialism, Democrats, Entitlement Crowd, or the US Gubmint in general (choose your preferred internal threat).

My view is a mix of these two positions. I see both Osama (and his fellow goat-boinkers) and Obama (and HIS leftist fellow travelers) as threats to all that I hold dear. And while I will readily admit that I view Obama as the more immediate threat, I fully understand that in the age of WMDs, it is decidedly foolish to dismiss muslims as mere camel jockeys and sand monkeys. For all they lack in know-how, they make up for in motivation! Furthermore, they have a world-class public relations department, and with the assistance of the aforementioned Internal Threat, the towel heads are making real inroads into our culture.

So BOTH threats are real, and both are aiding to erode our lifestyle, our liberties, and our nation.

Here's a man who "gets it"

This is the sermon delivered on the first day of Rosh Hashanah by Rabbi Shalom Lewis of Atlanta.

Israel is the laboratory - the test market. Every death, every explosion, every grisly encounter is not a random, bloody orgy. It is a calculated, strategic probe into the heart, guts and soul of the West.

General, I ask you this: what in hell is your “mission” if We The People jeopardize it by exercising our First Amendment rights in our own homeland? Is your “mission” to defend our rights against foreign enemies, or to defend foreign enemies against our rights?

You made your choice, and you justified by claiming that you and those under your command have been taken hostage by our 7th Century terrorist enemy, and that the ransom demand you deliver to us is that we submit to your captor’s restrictions on our natural and constitutional rights – or they’ll kill you.

I remind you and your captors that we do not negotiate with terrorists.

And I remind you that you are the most revered general in the present day, commanding in the most powerful military in all of history, during the most justifiable war in the last seventy years. So please either remember your priorities and slaughter your captors, or resign in disgrace so that we may replace you with a warrior. And if you resign, you should do so right along with President Obama, Gen. Caldwell, Pentagon Spokesman Lapan, Sec. of State Clinton, Atty. Gen. Holder, NATO Sec. To have our own military leaders beg us to refrain from exercising our Constitutional rights on our own soil is completely un-American. And to have you make that request of us in the name of cowardice is a shocking and unthinkable perversion I still don’t have the words for...

U.S. military says Afghan bibles have been destroyed
Tue May 5, 2009 4:15pm IST

(Reuters) - Bibles in Afghan languages sent to a U.S. soldier at a base in Afghanistan were confiscated and destroyed to ensure that troops did not breach regulations which forbid proselytising, a military spokeswoman said.

The U.S. military has denied its soldiers tried to convert Afghans to Christianity, after Qatar-based Al Jazeera television showed soldiers at a bible class on a base with a stack of bibles translated into the local Pashto and Dari languages.

U.S. Central Command's General Order Number 1 forbids troops on active duty -- including all those based in Iraq and Afghanistan -- from trying to convert people to another religion.

"I can now confirm that the Bibles shown on Al Jazeera's clip were, in fact, collected by the chaplains and later destroyed. They were never distributed," spokeswoman Major Jennifer Willis said at Bagram air base, north of Kabul.

Military officials have said the bibles were sent through private mail to an evangelical Christian soldier by his church back home. The soldier brought them to the bible study class where they were filmed.

Trying to convert Muslims to another faith is a crime in Afghanistan. An Afghan man who converted to Christianity was sentenced to death for apostasy in 2006 but was allowed to leave the country after an international uproar.

"It certainly is, from the United States military's perspective, not our position to ever push any specific kind of religion, period," chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen told a Pentagon briefing on Monday.

On burning the Koran

I’ve devoted all of five minutes thought to this business of some little church in Gainesville burning Korans. Let me share with you now my profound conclusions.

I wish this was being done by ANY ONE other than an ostensibly Christian group. Burning Korans doesn’t perturb me in the least. I wouldn’t be bothered to hear that Roosevelt had ordered the burning of all copies of Mein Kampf either! If I ever had any sensitivities where Islam was concerned (and trust me – I didn’t!) they were completely burned and crushed on 091101. However it does bother me when Christians enter the world of politics so plainly wearing the mantle of Christians. What an individual Christian does is not what I’m referring to here. I am referring to the actions of a pastor or a church in the arena of current politics. That simply was not included in Christ’s commission as stated to the Apostles.

The role of the church is to concern itself with the welfare of men’s souls – period. No other, feed the poor, clothe the naked form of social justice is included in the Great Commission. Spreading the gospel is what that pastor and his flock should be devoting themselves to. And if they feel a special burden in their hearts for muslims, then by all means they should seek them out and bear witness to them of the redeeming power of Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection. Just leave the book burning and the provocation of Islam to those of us more concerned with such temporal matters.

As for the Koran and Islam in general, this entire brouhaha should teach us two important lessons.

One: Islam is feared and SHOULD be feared, because of it’s propensity for the slaughter of innocents. When’s the last time you saw Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, or Hindus riot and murder over slights levied against their respective deities? Only the worshippers of the grand child molester Mohammed and his devil-God Allah are still mired in the middle ages on women’s rights, crime and punishment, and international diplomacy. And I owe them no respect because they render no respect to the faiths of others.

Their entire belief system revolves around control and submission, lies and destruction, conquest and slaughter. The closer a practicing muslim gets to the fundamentals of his “faith”, the more likely he is to kill you – and your family.

The other important lesson to be learned from this incident is that the US Government is completely cowed and intimidated by the Islamic world. Fear of the reaction has spawned weak knees and weak bladders in the White House and the Pentagon. Petraeus’s public comment had the effect of removing all doubt on the muslim street that all the years of conflict and violence has brought the reward of seeing America quiver and quake in its boots. The general’s opening of his mouth did far more damage than some obscure Southern preacher could have ever done – regardless of how many Korans he burned!

By the way... this is not a freedom of religion issue where Islam is concerned. I don't see Islam as a religion. It is much more accurate to describe it as a political system masquerading as a religion.

Final thoughts: if it wasn’t hunting season’s opening weekend, I might take a ride down there and witness first hand the book burn. I have no doubt there will be trouble, and I have no doubt who will cause it.

The testimony of a New York Fireman

Vinny Forras is a highly decorated firefighter from Westchester and was one of the first responders. On the third day of rescue and recovery operations he was buried alive with other firefighters by a collapse under the burning ruins. He was rescued after two hours and I think well represents his many brothers who perished on 9/11 and since.

“I grew up in Queens and I proudly served in the shadow of Ground Zero. I was one of the firefighters to answer the call and I was buried for nearly two hours beneath the rubble with my brothers. And I’m here to stand before you today and let you know that if I ever say or do anything that’s considered politically correct, it’s completely by accident.

We, the people, are still under attack, today. Planes rammed into these buildings on 9/11, but what’s happening here with this mosque is a continuation of the attack on all of us. I liken it to the Twilight Zone, where everything you believe that can’t happen does happen, especially with this administration. Think about it: we’re standing here on the 66th anniversary of D-Day when our brave soldiers took a beach head far away and spilled their blood in defense of America, freedom and liberty. We, the people, need to have the same courage that our military had 66 years ago today. And we must say, “No, not on our watch, are we going to allow this, right here on Ground Zero.”

I look around and I see the photographs of loved ones lost that appeared in this park when we were here nine years ago. Those families still die a little bit every single day, at the loss of their loved ones. How the hell can we justify more madness right here in our own back yard? I’m telling you now, guys, unless we the people stand up to this insanity, the attacks will continue on all of us. Every American must remember what happened here on this pile not so long ago, and to consider that we have the insane suggestion to build a mosque it is really a mockery on all of you, every one of you.

The attack continues today. and every single one of you must stand up for America and let our political leaders, (what a thought: leaders, these are the leaders we send?) Let’s get them out of here and send the people that actually represent you.

… nearly two thousand of the first responders have succumbed to their illnesses that they were exposed here at Ground Zero. The death toll mounts. I also have to mention my dear son, Michael, who is a serving U.S. Marine, who joined right after 9/11, and how do you think he and his Marines, and our soldiers feel around the world, as we even entertain this madness? Let’s send them a message: No to this mockery, and God bless America every single day.”

Prince Charles yesterday urged the world to follow Islamic 'spiritual principles' in order to protect the environment.

In an hour-long speech,the heir to the throne argued that man's destruction of the world was contrary to the scriptures of all religions - but particularly those of Islam.
