World has avoided economic disaster, Obama says

L'AQUILA, Italy – Lasting worldwide recovery "is still a ways off," President Barack Obama declared Friday, but he also said at the conclusion of a global summit that a disastrous economic collapse apparently has been averted. The implied suggestion is that He, The Annointed One, is responsible for the save!
Obama said world leaders had taken significant measures to address economic, environmental and global security issues. I took some "significant measures" myself just this morning - in my bathroom hey! But all things are relative.
"Reckless actions by a few have fueled a recession that spans the globe," Obama said [yep...a few US gubmint bureaucrats have managed to nearly crash the system] of the meltdown that began in the United States with a tumble in housing prices and drastic slowing of business lending. The downturn now threatens superpowers and emerging nations alike.
Obama urged national leaders to unite behind a global recovery plan that includes stricter financial regulation and sustained stimulus spending. More of the same crap that got in this mess...government intervention, and leaving the free market further and further behind!
"The only way forward is through shared and persistent effort to combat threats to our peace, our prosperity and our common humanity wherever they may exist. None of this will be easy," Obama told a news conference at the end of the Group of Eight summit of major economic powers. There's a threat to our peace and prosperity alright! It's the socialist cabal leading the US gubmint!

Lets see if I have this right. We are going to refill the pool by taking a bucket of water from one end and adding it to the other end. Sound about right? Hey the Liberals in this country have done the math and say that this is the ONLY way to fix the issue. Barryboy needs some good ol'fashioned education in reality(as well as all of the Liberals with Ivy league edumakations)
