Quote of the day

"Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil."

— C.S. Lewis

If you have not read something authored by CS Lewis, you are denying yourself a taste of real wisdom. And speaking for myself, I would take a thimbleful of wisdom over a boxcarful of knowledge - any day!

I heartily recommend:

THE GREAT DIVORCE
MERE CHRISTIANITY
THE SCEWTAPE LETTERS

"Miracles" is another excellent CS Lewis writing. But you're so right- ANY thing by Lewis is profound reading and excellent for training the thought processes.

My personal favorite, of the three listed, The Great Divorce, although The Screwtape Letters is hot on its heels.

Lewis gave us some powerful stuff.

The Great Divorce is one of my favorites too. Multiple times I've read it, and have yet to tire of it.
