Government just wants all the power in their own hands. They realize that when people have weapons, the gov. doesn't have as much power. There is probably no one in today's government that is actually faithful to the Constitution besides maybe Ron Paul. Politicians today are a pathetic excuse for a government. What is even sadder is that the majority of Americans love these politicians and rely on their handouts for everything
That is awesome that your ancestors fought in the confederate army. People today don't realize how tyrannical, and how bad of a president Abe Lincoln really was. Just like all of the other bad politicians that break the constitution, they idolize him.
